Shubham Sharma Founder of Tales Of Travel

I am Shubham Sharma a 20 something guy who is very enthusiastic about travel. I born and brought up in a middle class family. My father is a soldier in Indian Air Force in a position of junior warrant officer so since from my childhood I never lived in a single place for a very long time and due to transfers every third year, we would have to pack our bags and stuff to move in a new state, new city, and new location. so traveling is not something that I started when I grew up, Indeed I was traveling and wandering new places since from my childhood with my parents.

talking about my education and qualification I studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya and completed my twelfth from the same school only. after completion of my school, I went to do higher education in engineering from Lovely Professional University Jalandhar Punjab. In my point of view, my university is not a normal university that you will see it is so huge and spread that someday the government will declare it as a district. Ah! sorry, it was a joke that’s not gonna happen I know. So leave this coming again on my topic, as a soldier brat you learn a lot of things about culture, tradition, language, handling different types of people in a different situation, making new friends, meeting new people, and when you leave a particular place you learn how to handle your tears for leaving your friends and your home there.

When I came to my first year of engineering I was very happy to pursue it but day by day my inner soul started telling me that I don’t belong here and slowly my interest on engineering slowed down also I always wanted something big and something more but I never knew what that big thing and more thing is, so on the same year of my college I saved some money and went to my first destination solo in Shimla (capital of Himachal Pradesh). Since then I have visited Manali, Mussoorie, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Gangtok, Guwahati, Shillong, Bengaluru and many other places or destinations of India.
There are some people who always inspired me always to travel and some YouTubers like my favorite “Tanya Khanijow” and “Mumbiker Nikhil” and many other YouTubers. “Goats On The Road” a website that is run by a couple who write blogs about traveling also inspired me to never leave traveling so these are the one who fueled my soul to travel and if I ever got an opportunity to meet them I will Definitely thank them.

It was the month of July, I was in Shillong and it was night time with a heavy downpour and I couldn’t even find a single hotel to spend my whole night because all the hotels were booked all over Shillong. That night I slept in a reception of a hotel. Suddenly a girl with curly hair and dark complexion face appeared in the reception with having the same problem that I was suffering from so I told her to stay in the reception only. she was 7 to 8 years older than me. While talking the whole night she told me that you are a traveler then why don’t you share your experience with others to help them out. at that time I couldn’t understand what she is talking about and after coming home I thought of making my own blog where I would share all the information about a particular place that I know. That ended up in making this website. so the purpose is very simple, that is I want to help other fellow travelers about a particular place that I have visited by my experience and you can check my whole website for that.
